Maca Mango Madness Smoothie makes a good breakfast or afternoon smoothie, for energy and endurance. Maca a root vegetable is considered a super food. A good source of carbs, protein, and fiber. It is high in antioxidant, some essential vitamins and minerals including iron, vitamin C, and copper. It improves mood energy, memory, balances hormones levels, reducing menopause symptoms, it also increases blood flow and libido.

  • 2 teaspoon Maca powder
  • 1/2 cup Mango chunks
  • 1 teaspoon Almond butter
  • 2 cups Filtered water
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 1/2 cup Quaker oats
  • 1 teaspoon Vegan protein powder (I used TwinLabs) carmel flavor
  • 2 teaspoon Organic chia seeds


  1. In a blender of your choice (I used NutriBullet) add water, almond milk, quaker oats, mango chunks, maca powder, and almond butter, protein powder, organic chia seed. 
  2. Blend well, and serve!  

Recipe Notes

Use fresh mango (remove skin) or frozen mango.
