About Sunnie
JE Sunnie Discipio is a self-taught artist, born and raised in the Caribbean. After a series of life-changing experiences, she relocated to the United States in the late 1970’s, where she later became a U.S. citizen. Her life has been shaped by extensive international travel and a deep exploration of healing, culture, and inner transformation. She now resides in Sedona, Arizona.
Her work exists at the intersection of art, healing, and ritual.
Each piece is created from a place of deep reflection, love, and intention, an extension of her inner world and a visual expression of stillness, emotion, and positive energy. For Sunnie, the act of creating is both meditation and healing, where every brushstroke becomes part of a sacred and intuitive process.
From working in Corporate in Manhattan, N.Y., to a lifelong background in holistic health and well-being, her offerings extend beyond the canvas into a full sensory experience. She is a certified Psycho-Aromatherapist, Reiki and Seichim Master, Yoga Teacher, and Master Herbalist, with decades of experience in bodywork and healing practices. In the mid-1990s, she owned and operated a day spa in the San Francisco Bay Area, cultivating spaces centered on restoration, balance, and care.
This is the foundation of everything I create.
In every moment, I choose peace—healing becomes a lifestyle.
Today, her work expands into intentional living through rituals, incorporating herbal blends, tea, self-care practices, and moments of stillness designed to nourish both body and spirit. These offerings are created with the same mindfulness and energy as her artwork, encouraging a slower, more connected way of being.
Sunnie believes that what we surround ourselves with matters. Art, ritual, and environment all have the power to influence how we feel, heal, and move through life. Her work is designed to bring warmth, peace, and soulful energy into everyday spaces, transforming them into sanctuaries.
Through her art and rituals, she invites you to pause, breathe, and return to yourself. To find beauty in stillness, comfort in presence, and healing in the simple, intentional moments of life.
